1. About this website
The website introduces Alwen Books and our plans for it. Viewing the site or sending an enquiry does not create an Alwen account, start a paid subscription or appoint us to keep your books or make filings for you.
2. Registering your interest
An enquiry lets us discuss your business, the software you use and whether an early pilot may suit your needs. There is no charge or obligation to buy for making an enquiry. An enquiry does not reserve a place or guarantee admission, availability or a start date.
If we offer you access, we will explain the service provider, supported features, any charges and the separate service terms before you decide. Nothing in these website terms commits you to that offer.
Please send only the contact and general business information needed for your enquiry. Do not send passwords, bank credentials, identity documents or customer accounting records through the website enquiry route.
Our privacy notice explains how we handle information about you. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to a newsletter. Any choice to receive separate email updates will be explained separately, including how to stop them.
3. Product information
Alwen Books is in development. We identify planned features separately from features available for an agreed pilot. Demonstrations and sample screens help explain the product; they are not a promise that every feature shown is available to every business.
Work to make the whole app available in Welsh and English is still in progress. Alwen is not currently registered or approved by Companies House or HMRC for filing services. Before any pilot, we will agree its supported scope with you.
We take reasonable care to keep website information accurate. Please tell us if something appears wrong. General information here is not personalised accounting, tax or legal advice; decisions about your own obligations need advice suited to your circumstances.
4. Content and links
You may read, save and share links to our public pages. Please keep attribution when quoting our material and do not suggest that we endorse you or your business. Other reuse may need permission from the relevant rights holder; this does not limit uses allowed by law.
External sites have their own terms and privacy information. A link alone does not establish a partnership or endorsement.
5. Using the site
Use the site lawfully. Do not introduce malware, disrupt access or try to obtain access to systems or information without permission. If you notice a security issue, use the contact details above without including sensitive records.
Access may be interrupted for maintenance, technical faults or security work. We may restrict access where reasonably needed to address misuse or protect the site. These website terms do not set the availability or support commitments for any future paid service.
6. Our responsibility
Your legal rights remain unchanged. These terms do not impose a financial cap on our liability or exclude responsibility for fraud, misleading statements, breach of a legal duty, or death or personal injury caused by our negligence. Any responsibility for loss or harm is determined by applicable law.
7. Changes and language
We will date revised website terms and explain material changes. Updates do not retrospectively change an existing agreement or your earlier choices about contact.
These terms are available in Welsh and English, with the same intended meaning. If you notice a difference, please contact us so we can clarify and correct it.
